Freshford Squash Club have announced the death of member Noel Walsh with a 'heavy heart'.
Mr Walsh passed away in the Oak Ward University Hospital Waterford after a year-long battle with cancer.
"We wish to send our love and prayers to Cathy, Serena, Jamie, Nathan and all Noel's extended family and friends," the club posted in a social media post.
"May he rest in peace."
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS: Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home Freshford, R95 C44T, on Friday, March 13 from 5pm pausing for Prayers and Rosary at 7pm.
Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, March 14 at 11am in St. Lachtain's Church, Freshford, R95 K003. Burial afterwards in St Lachtain's Cemetery.
