Geraldine Fox (née Connolly)

The death has occurred of Geraldine FOX (née Connolly) Inistioge, Kilkenny / Blackrock, Dublin, (Peacefully) with great serenity in Connolly Hospital. Much loved mother to Alan, Kerrie, Patricia and Paul. Beloved Grandma to Darragh, Ruairí and Caoimhe. Will be sadly missed by her brother Neil and sister Patricia, daughter-in-law Aisling, son-in-law Mark, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and by her wide and much loved lifelong friends.

Reposing at Fanagan’s Funeral Home, Dundrum, 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, 12th September. Funeral Mass at 10am on Friday, 13th September, in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, Dublin followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery.

Family kindly asks mourners not to wear black at the Funeral Home or at the Church.

No flowers please, if desired, donations to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Lauren Shortt-Halligan

The death has occurred of Lauren Shortt-Halligan of 35 Old Callan Road, Kilkenny, on 9th September 2019, unexpectedly, at University Hospital, Waterford. Predeceased by her grandparents Richard and Kathleen Shortt, beloved daughter of Linda and Alan and dear sister of Caitlin and Conor. Lauren will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, grandmother Anne (Halligan) great-grandparents Paddy and Theresa (Murray), aunts, uncles, grandaunts and granduncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Removal on Friday morning to St. John's Church, Kilkenny, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. House private on Friday please.

Seamus Sweeney (Mac Suibhne)

The death has occurred of Seamus Sweeney (Mac Suibhne), Powerstown Way, Clonmel, Tipperary / Dublin / Kilkenny. Seamus, darling husband of Aoife (Ni Chorcorain) loving Dada of Eimear, Dearbhla and Donnacha, devoted son of Aine and the late Michael, beloved brother of Eamon. Sadly missed by his uncles, aunts, cousins, parents-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family, friends, colleagues and patients.

Removal on Thursday morning to St John the Baptist Church, Powerstown for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. House Private on Thursday morning. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to South East Mountain Rescue.
