Keep Kilkenny Beautiful and Nore River Catchment Trust Volunteers are teaming up next Tuesday, May 16 for an Alien Invasive Species walk over survey. The survey will focus on Giant Hogweed and Himalayan Balsam. Alien invasive species are one of the most serious threats to our natural habitats whose conservation is essential for the conservation of nature.
Volunteers will be meeting up at Ossory Bridge at 7pm on Tuesday evening. This is part of the National Alien Invasive Species Week program. For more information please contact www.keepkilkennybeautiful.com
