A short teaser trailer has been released for an upcoming television drama series that was partly filmed across multiple locations in Kilkenny.
The plot of 'The Inheritance' focuses on three siblings who are left reeling after the unexpected death of their father (see trailer below).

Secrets are exploded, relationships ripped apart, and lives lost as they try desperately to claw back the inheritance that they have lost.
The television show is coming to Channel 5 this autumn (exact date yet to be announced) and features a stellar cast including Rob James-Collier, Larry Lamb, Kevin Whately, Gaynor Faye and Jemima Rooper.
Many people from Kilkenny were involved in the production of the television show and many more were cast as extras.
Additional cast members include Samantha Bond, known for her role in Downton Abbey and Kevin Whately, famous for Morse.
Joining them are Adil Ray from Ackley Bridge, Moe Dunford, Kevin Harvey and former Kilkenny resident Pauline McLynn, known for her work in Shameless, Rosie Malloy Gives Up Everything and Father Ted.
