Kilkenny’s own Ballykeeffe Distillery is set to feature in an episode of hit US show Ireland with Michael, with its fifth season having premiered on PBS on January 9, 2025.
Hosted by Wexford native Michael Londra, the new season will include an episode focusing on Ireland’s Ancient East. Michael will take audiences on a culinary journey through Ballykeeffe Distillery, where he tries a combination of Ballykeeffe's Single Estate Pot Still Whiskey and a variety of local cheeses.

Ireland with Michael has given a boost to the Irish tourism industry with its showcasing of Irish music and culture, dramatic landscapes, and artisan craftsmanship. The show has been aired more than 44,000 times to millions of potential North American tourists living across 49 US states.
Preparations for the show’s sixth season are already underway, with producers encouraging Irish artists, towns, and institutions to get in touch and share their stories, with the opportunity to feature in upcoming episodes. The production team can be contacted at info@irelandwithmichael.com.
