The Cummins family from Kilkenny City have qualified for the Grand Final of RTE's 'Ireland's Fittest Family'.
In order to qualify, the local family faced a gruelling course titled, 'Valley of Pain'.
In this challenge, Paul, Zac, Bryce and Hallie had to overcome straw bails before leaping down for a winding run through the forest before tackling two angled walls, run down to the first of two cargo nets, with one they had to climb over and one they had to crawl under and finished by climbing up to the top of the Irish table, which was almost two and a half metres high.
The Cummins family then faced the added tester of an eliminator where the local family, trained by Davy Fitzgerald, completed the challenge in three minutes and nineteen seconds, securing the third spot in the Grand Final.
