Irish mezzo-soprano Imelda Drumm plays the bewitching temptress at the centre of this riveting tale of lust, obsession and betrayal.
Following on from the success of ‘Cosi Fan Tutte’ and ‘The Magic Flute’, Opera Theatre Company, Ireland’s National touring company is delighted to return to the Watergate Theatre with Bizet’s timeless masterpiece.
Sung in English, with David Brophy conducting the 13-piece, Opera Theatre Company ensemble, ‘Carmen’ is directed by Gavin Quinn with design by Aedin Cosgrove.
The performance will take place on May 9 at 7.30pm and tickets are €20 and €16.
