Cinderella at the Watergate Theatre 'a fun-filled fairy tale production to blow away the post-Christmas blues’
Cinderella, the most magical panto of all, which runs from January 4-15, 2023 at the Watergate Theatre has received an honourable mention as ‘a fun-filled fairy tale production to blow away the post-Christmas blue’ in The Irish Times’ list of ‘Christmas shows around Ireland this festive season’.
The popular panto will be staged at Kilkenny’s Watergate Theatre in January 2023 and tickets are selling fast.
The Watergate describes the production of the show as follows: “Forced to tend to her wicked stepmother and ugly sisters all day long, Cinderella gets by with a little help from her best friend, Buttons and his sister Bangles until her magical Fairy Godmother makes an unexpected appearance and transforms Cinders from rags to riches, but will her sisters ruin her chances of finding love at the ball before the stroke of midnight?”
The production directed by David Doyle follows the beautiful Cinderella as she battles it out with her two ‘not so beautiful’ stepsisters to win the heart of the prince and impress his uber-efficient aide, Dandini!
The theatre says their 'glittering panto is just what you need to kickstart 2023, packed with a cast of hilarious characters, stunning scenery, costumes, music, dance and fun for all to enjoy!’
Tickets for the show which runs from January 4-15 2023, range from €19-€21 and can be booked at https://watergatetheatre.ie/watergate_events/cinderella-panto-2023/
