A 50-acre farm situated in County Loaois sold last Friday, June 23 at Joseph Coogan Auctioneers Auction Room at Ballycomey
House, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny for a total of €1,400,000.
The property was purchased by solicitor Michael Ryan, Rathdowney acting on behalf for a number of local dairy farmers.
The circa 50-acres is in one block with farm buildings and a 4-bedroom dormer bungalow residence.
A large crowd attended the auction and there were three active bidders.
The farm is situated two miles from Rathdowney.
