Kilkenny farmers getting ready for winter at the FRS Open Day

A Kilkenny-based farmers’ co-operative that supports farmers held a Summer Open Day showcasing their livestock handling and winter housing products.

KCDFRS is a farmer owned Co-Operative based in Cillin Hill, that supplies milking relief, general labourers and a number of specialist services such as hoofcare, freeze branding and calf dehorning to farmers in Carlow and Kilkenny.

Reps from KCDFRS’s suppliers were on hand at the open day, including Biocel ltd, Condon engineering, Fox bros engineering, Acravet and JFC Agri.

KCD FRS was founded in 1979 as Noreside Farm Relief Services Co Op. The co-op’s relief services are there to support farmers in the efficient running of their farming enterprises.
