Milking Relief
Dairy farming is a full-time commitment. KCDFRS support farmers on a full-time/ part time basis or as and when the need arises.
All operators are fully trained and have the skills to work with the latest milking technology.
Farm Labourers
Farming, like any other business has it’s busy and quite seasons. It is also a labour intensive business. KCDFRS can provide support during busy periods, holiday periods and in emergency situations. Our relief workers can help with general work or more specialist work.
Specialist Services
Specialist services are sometimes needed on the farm. KCDFRS regularly supply the following specialist workers:
Hoof care, both ailment treatment and preventative care including trimming. Also freeze branding, calf dehorning and bovine scanning.
