Queen of the Plough has Kilkenny roots!

Congratulations to Ellen Nyhan, from Ballinspittle, who won the Farmette class at last week’s National Ploughing Championships - Ellen’s mother Rose Tynan is a proud Kilkenny woman from Tullaroan!

A banquet will be held to celebrate Ellen’s achievement on October 5 next. All her family are so proud of her!

Kilkenny was well represented at the National Ploughing Championships, with a team coached by Brian Ireland taking to the Laois fields. They are pictured below.
