The Fiat 500 family continues to grow, and the latest model, which comes with a five year warranty as standard, is available in Ireland.
The new Fiat 500S brings an Abarth-inspired look and feel to the range, thereby broadening its even further. Inspired by the hugely successful ‘Sporting’ models of the past and the more recent ‘by Abarth’ edition of the 500, the new Fiat 500S is aimed at enthusiasts who want the affordability and low running costs in a more eye-catching and dynamic package.
Distinguishing the Fiat 500S from the rest of the range are bespoke front and rear bumpers; new side skirts; a boot lid-mounted rear spoiler; dark chrome detailing; a chrome exhaust; rear privacy glass and new 15-inch (and optional 16-inch) alloy wheels.
Inside, the 500S is enhanced with new sports seats, a flat-bottomed Abarth-design steering wheel, as well as a new gear knob and gaiter, all with unique red detailing (including a special logo in the seats). A matte silver dashboard panel rounds out the interior revisions.
The Fiat 500S engine range consists of the 69hp, 1.2-litre petrol and the 85hp TwinAir Turbo petrol. Both are equipped with air conditioning (climate control on the TwinAir version), Blue & Me connectivity, seven airbags, fuel-saving Start&Stop, electric windows and mirrors and remote central locking as standard.
The Fiat 500S 1.2 is priced at €15,195 and has CO2 emissions of just 113g/km, putting into VRT band A4. The 500S TwinAir Turbo is priced at €16,495 and with CO2 emissions of just 92g/km it falls into VRT band A2. Both versions of the 500S come with a five year warranty as standard.
