The Honda CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC 2WD SUV will arrive in dealerships from October 21 and will offer class-leading fuel economy and CO2emissions.

The CR-V is the latest model to benefit from Honda’s ‘Earth Dreams Technology’, as it is powered by Honda’s dynamic 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine. Prices begin at 31,995 euro.

The lightest engine of its type in the World, it offers class-leading emissions of 119g/km for annual road tax from €200.

Economy

Fuel economy also benefits greatly with Honda’s Idle Stop and Eco Assist systems working alongside the new 1.6 i-DTEC engine to produce class-leading fuel economy figures of 4.5 litres per 100km, the equivalent of 62.8mpg, and delivering a range in excess of 1280 kilometres from a full tank of diesel.

The class-leading features of the 1.6 i-DTEC engine come in addition to the existing strengths of the CR-V. A full-size family SUV, it offers ample room inside with up to 1,669 litres of luggage capacity available.

Standard equipment includes dual-zone climate control, 17” alloy wheels, cruise control, one-motion folding rear seats. It also includes Electric front and rear windows, alarm, USB connectivity and daytime running lights.
