Thousands of revellers are enjoyed a bumper St Patrick's Day festival in Kilkenny with much more in store for spectators today.
St Patrick’s Festival Kilkenny will transform Ireland’s Medieval Capital into a celebration of Irish culture, with more than 80 events planned across the four-day festival, featuring a mix of music, heritage, family fun, workshops and community events.

The festival gets bigger every year and this year’s theme – ‘Le Chéile’ (together) – encourages you to join in on the fun. Locals and visitors alike will be wowed by street performers, treated to non-stop toe-tapping tunes and, of course, marvel at the all-important St. Patrick’s Day parade which takes place at 1.30pm today.
