Gallery 3: Urlingford Parade celebrates local community in North Kilkenny - St Patrick's Day 2026

Pictures from Urlingford as a wonderful parade full of flags and shamrocks takes over the town

From vintage cars to camogie, music and St Patrick himself - this year's Urlingford St Patrick's Day Parade was entertaining for all!

Community groups joined school parties, local companies and even a local transport company, to bring a real sense of fun and celebration to our national day. Well done to everyone who helped to organise the event and everyone who made such a great effort to take part.

The parade was lead through the town by the Moyne National School Band and the Grand Marshall was Seán Hennessy.
Judges on the day were  Dermot Dunphy, Margaret Delaney and Cllr Mick McCarthy.
