The Allianz National Hurling League Division 1 Final between Kilkenny and Limerick will be played in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Easter Sunday with a 2pm throw-in.
It will be the first time since 1980 that the newly redeveloped Leeside venue will host the national final but the venue choice has come in for a deal of criticism.
Thurles’ FBD Semple Stadium had been expected to be selected for a Saturday evening date which remains blank but with Tipperary and Waterford colliding a day later at the same venue in the Munster Football Championship, the game has been moved to Cork.
The game is a repeat of last year's All-Ireland Final and is the first league final meeting between the sides since 2006.
The match will also be screened live on TG4.
