AIB ambassador, camogie star, Aoife Prendergast of Dicksboro, Kilkenny
For the first time in Gaelic Games, and the first time ever in competitive women’s sport, camogie players will wear a camera on the field of play for the final stages of this year’s AIB Camogie All-Ireland Club Championships.
AIB, proud sponsors of the Camogie All-Ireland Club Championships, recently teamed up with Aisling Maher (St Vincent’s, Dublin) and Aoife Prendergast (Dicksboro, Kilkenny) to launch their new content series ‘Meet #TheToughest’.
Both players will wear a camera during the AIB Leinster Camogie Senior Club final between the two teams at Netwatch Dr. Cullen Park in Carlow this Sunday, November 19.
The content aims to get under the skin of what it truly means to be #TheToughest, and will take viewers right onto the field of play, allowing them an insider’s glimpse into life on the pitch for the first time ever.
The action will unfold through the eyes and voices of the players, allowing fans to both hear and see every key moment, showcasing the game from the players’ own perspectives, and highlighting their speed, skill and dedication.
