The Kilkenny Senior Camogie team will kick-start their season when playing host to Cork in the opening round of the Very Camogie League at UPMC Nowlan Park today (Saturday) at 2pm.
Ahead of his first match in charge, Peter 'Chap Cleere' says he is not feeling nervous about taking over the senior reigns.
"No, sure camogie is camogie and when you're from Kilkenny like we all are you just love hurling and love camogie, it's what we do and it's in our blood so of course you'd be trying to making sure everything is organised and everything is how it should be, there's nerves in that sense but I suppose when the whistle is blown and the game takes place, my job really is to step back and just watch the girls."
"They've worked really hard over the past number of weeks and months and we're looking forward to Saturday," commented Cleere.
