Old friends are best - Kilkenny GAA makes it stamp on GAA at home and abroad

Nickey Brennan, Pam O'Mahony, Seamus Reade and Barry Hickey

It wasn't all debate at the recent GAA Congress in Newry as members of the association from across the globe had the opportunity to meet and share stories again.

Amongst the local representation, were former President of the GAA, Nickey Brennan and County Board officials, Seamus Reade and Barry Hickey.

During the two day event, the Kilkenny men met a familiar face. Pam O'Mahony, originally from Castlehale, Kilmoganny is currently an Australian GAA delegate.

The local woman, a member of Craobh Phadraigh GAA Club 'Down Under' has been living in Sydney for the past 20 years and her dad was the former Creamery Manager in Castlehale Creamery, Co Kilkenny.

Everyone in Kilkenny GAA wishes Pam and the Craobh Phadraigh club continued success.
