Peter Funchion is the Leinster Senior Singles Championship for the second year in-a-row.
The Kells native had a great win over Gavin Buggy (Wexford) in the semi-final who performed very well on the night and in the final he received a walkover from Kevin Diggins (Kildare).
Commending his achievement was Kells Handball Club, who stated that 'a senior title in any competition is hard won and congrats to Peter on picking up the title'.

"Peter won the same final 12 months prior, defeating his brother Patrick in the final," the club stated.
"Incidentally, the two brothers will meet again in the County Senior Singles Final. It's great for Kilkenny GAA Handball to win back-to-back titles in Leinster. Congrats Peter."
