Former Kilkenny All-Star and current Danesfort hurler Richie Hogan has told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast that they must 'improve' going into their Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Intermediate Hurling Semi-Final with Young Irelands on Saturday.
Hogan started for Danesfort in the club's 1-22 apiece draw quarter-final with the Rower Inistioge with the 2022 intermediate champions winning 3-0 in the subsequent penalty shootout.
"We'd prefer if we were going a bit better," he said.
"Of course, we want to be in it (a semi-final) but we have to improve and improve hugely," Hogan commented, adding, "we can't go into the last five or six minutes with the other team having a seven point lead."
