Former Kilkenny player waves goodbye to hospital role

It's been a 2024 to remember for former Kilkenny camogie player Grace Walsh who confirmed her inter-county retirement and engagement over the 12 months.

Walsh has represented the county team with great distinction since making her debut in 2011 and she leaves the squad with All-Ireland titles in 2016, 2020 and 2022 to her name. Meanwhile, the former Kilkenny player and Wexford senior hurler Jack O'Connor confirmed their engagement last summer.

The Tullaroan clubwoman has been juggling a lot over the past number of years with her role as a nurse in St Vincent's Hospital particularly demanding during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, those lengthy workshifts are about to end in the Dublin hospital as Grace took to social media on Thursday to announce she was leaving the hospital.
