New development in plans lodged by large GAA club in Kilkenny

Kilmacow GAA Club in County Kilkenny has applied for planning permission to erect six external lighting poles at its sports complex in South Kilkenny.

The proposed development would provide floodlighting for a previously approved single-storey gym and indoor training facility, which was granted permission under planning reference P23/124.

Kilkenny County Council is expected to make a decision on the application by May 27, 2025.

The development is located at the Kilmacow Sports Complex and forms part of the club’s ongoing investment in facilities for its members and the wider community.
