Kilkenny will go in search of their second win of the Leinster Under 20 Championship on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Dublin to UPMC Nowlan Park at 5pm.
Mark Dowling's team ran out seven point winners over Wexford last weekend, with Dowling acknowledging the panel is taking a 'slightly different approach' to previous seasons.
"We look for improvement in players year on year so why shouldn't look for improvements in a management team," Dowling told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"I would feel very strongly that it's important that as a manager you have to do your best to improve year on year and take learnings from where you could have done better or failed on certain things like you'd expect of a player.
"This being my third year with the U20s, I would say there's huge learnings from year to year and probably a slightly different approach. Not massively but certain things are being approached and looked at differently based on past experiences," he continued.

"It's a different set of circumstances at inter-county level, there's a lot more moving parts I would say and it's a different job in a lot of ways.
"There's huge honour and you'd be very mindful of the fact you're in the role and reminded of it regularly enough if things aren't going so well but it's a fantastic experience and I wouldn't take it lightly."
