Kilkenny forward John Donnelly has claimed it doesn't to the panel if Kilkenny are deemed favourites by the media.
The Thomastown player overcame injury woes early in the Allianz Hurling League campaign to finish his league season strongly and is keen to transition that same form into the provincial championship which begins at home to Galway.

"If people make us favourites, well and good, it doesn't really matter to us to be honest," Donnelly commented.
The Thomastown player is also pleased to a number of his team-mates enter the panel after their senior county final winning season.
"It's brilliant for the club," Donnelly said, adding, "it's great for the young people to look up to."
