It's the beginning of a new era for a local GAA club in Kilkenny

Kilkenny GAA club to hold fundraiser this weekend with big plans ahead!

O'Loughlin Gaels are continuing their fundraising drive for 'Pedal to the Sea' which takes place this weekend.

The two day cycle will bring those involved from St  Johns Park to Dungarvan via the Waterford Greenway and back again with all levels of ability are welcome.

The cycle hopes to raise vital funds for Laura Lynn and to fund works on a new wall ball, astro turf and dressing rooms.

The project is part of an overall development which includes a move to a new greenfield site at Dunmore with brand new pitches over the coming years

Members were presented with a detailed briefing on the proposal to purchase land to develop new playing pitches to cater for the continued growth of the club earlier this year at the club's AGM.

There was a very positive response as the proposal was fully discussed by members and was then unanimously accepted by all present. Exciting times ahead for O'Loughlin Gaels.
