The return of two notable players is a welcome boost for Kilkenny boss Derek Lyng

BREAKING: Key players set to return to Kilkenny starting team to face Dublin

Kilkenny's Richie Reid

Two key Kilkenny players have been named to start for the county's penultimate match of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship as Dublin make the trip to UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday afternoon at 3pm.

Both Adrian Mullen and Richie Reid have been named in the starting 15, selected to play at corner-forward and centre-back respectively.

Mullen has been plagued with injuries in recent months and a knock against Galway could have been a potential season ender due to the current condensed season.

However, a substitute appearance and goal against Offaly has given local supporters hope he can be influential in the crucial games to come.

As for Reid, the Shamrocks Ballyhale clubman has overcome a short-term injury which saw him sidelined for the Noresiders comfortable win at home to Offaly last weekend.

Derek Lyng's side are unbeaten so far in the provincial series and a further two points this weekend would guarantee yet another Leinster Final place.
