Kilkenny handballer follows in the footsteps of the sport's all-time greats

Kilkenny's Anthony Clifford

Local player Anthony Clifford has followed in the footsteps of some of the game's greats after winning the Boys All-Ireland Minor 40x20 Singles title, defeating Tyrone to win title 21-12 21-14 on Sunday in the National Handball Centre, Croke Park to become the fifth Kilkenny player to win the Minor Singles 40x20 title.

Anthony also follows in the footsteps of the great Michael "Duxie" Walsh and Billy Bourke as the third player to win the Minor Singles All Ireland title for the Talbots Inch club.
