Kilkenny manager Mark Dowling
Kilkenny manager Mark Dowling has heaped praise on his U20 panel after they claimed the county's first provincial title for three years last Wednesday evening.
Kilkenny GAA are now calling on as many home supporters as possible to go to UPMC Nowlan Park this Saturday for their highly anticipated All-Ireland Final clash with Tipperary. Dowling's side will go in search of their first title since 2022 when the ball is thrown in at 3pm.
"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't on my mind, it definitely was but look I have to keep bringing it back to the players. Ultimately, management teams come and go but this is a magnificent group of players," Dowling told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.

"Kilkenny will be well served by this group of players going forward and look there's always tension, pressure and stress and maybe some times too much but it really was a joy to be involved with this group," he added.
