Kilkenny U20 corner-back Ivan Bolger has heaped praise on his team-mates ahead of the county's All-Ireland Final with Tipperary in UPMC Nowlan Park this Saturday.

Kilkenny under the stewardship of Mark Dowling are going in search of their first All-Ireland title in three years, a day that local supporters remember fondly as Kilkenny beat Limerick by a single point in Semple Stadium.

"They're genuinely the best group of lads, you could possibly ask for," Bolger told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.

"There isn't a dressing room in the country I'd rather be in," he added.

The Graignamanagh clubman, who was the TV choice for man of the match in Kilkenny's Leinster Final defeat of Dublin, also said he's 'delighted' to play at corner-back 'every day of the week' as long as he's in the starting team.

"It's a thankless job at times," Bolger commented.

"As long as I'm in the team I'm delighted. It's a job that has to be done and sure if the boys pick me there, I'll play there every day of the week and I'm happy to do it," he continued.

"Once you're winning games at corner-back you're delighted."
