The two-time All-Ireland winner will take his panel to UPMC Nowlan Park for a 3pm throw-in on Saturday looking to go one step further than last year, with nine starters on Saturday featuring in last year's final loss for Offaly.

Meanwhile, Kilkenny are seeking their first title at this grade since 2022.

"Both teams will be unbelievably well prepared, I have no doubt about that," Cummins told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.

"Of course, every time Tipperary play Kilkenny there's going to be passion and it's going to be a close one."

"I saw Kilkenny the night of the Leinster Final. The hunger, the passion and the work rate around the pitch is very serious and we have a big task to try and match that and hopefully try and beat that to get across the line," he added.
