As the countdown begins to the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship semi-final clash between Tipperary and Kilkenny on Sunday, July 6th, there’s growing speculation over what starting 15 Derek Lyng will play.

"It was probably an opportunity to get minutes into the legs and get a bit of game time under the belt and that's all it was.

"Look, I'm happy to play wherever I'm picked on any day," he added.
