Along with the two pitches, a new car park and access road were also added after a successful fundraising campaign which brought in around €600,000 supplemented by a sports capital grant.
This allowed the project to be completed without any debt being accrued by the club.
The upgrades will continue at Barrow Rangers as they have received another grant for €146,000 and are planning to add a ball wall and all-weather pitch in 2026.
