Kilkenny supporters, particularly those residing on the border with County Tipperary, have been left enraged after fans from the Premier County vandalised a sign wishing a player well.
The two counties are preparing to do battle in Sunday's All-Ireland senior hurling semi-final in Croke Park.
The sign, located in Urlingford in North Kilkenny, sends best wishes to their club player and senior inter-county representative, Killian Doyle of the Emeralds and was first erected pre the Leinster final.
The location is all the more significant as it's the home club and area of senior boss Derek Lyng.

However, fans from the county's near neighbours and rivals decided to put their own unique design on the display, spray painting, 'Up Tipp Abú'.
A person in the area told Kilkenny Live, "Urlingford is a melting pot of tension today about it."
