Did this Kilkenny choir sing Tipperary on their way to All-Ireland glory?

A Kilkenny Live reader has reached out to share a unique but heartwarming moment of sportsmanship that took place in a local church over the weekend.

It's understood that the Foulkstown Choir concluded 10.30am mass with a rendition of Slievenamon.

Ordinarily, the choir sings the Kilkenny anthem 'The Rose of Mooncoin' ahead of big Kilkenny matches but yesterday, in a gesture of goodwill, they sang the Tipperary anthem which was sung with particular gusto by one member of the congregation, who originally hailed from across the boundary line.
