Kilkenny hurler marries long-term partner on day 'enjoyed to the full'

A local community is still teary eyed with pride just over a week on from the marriage of former club hurler with Danesfort, Jack Bruton from Cuffesgrange in County Kilkenny to Orla Fitzmaurice of Ballygar, Galway.

The pair celebrated their special day in St Patrick's Church, Newbridge, Galway on Saturday, July 26 with the reception being held in Lough Rynn Castle, Leitrim.

The fabulous weather added to the day being enjoyed to the full by all including the many family and friends who travelled from Kilkenny.

The Best Man was Harry Bruton, the Maid of Honour was Martina Fitzmaurice while the groomsmen were Rob Lennon, Cillian Treacy and Kevin Butler, the bridesmaids were Eimear Fitzmaurice, Sarah Kelly and Freda Walsh.
