"We've had a lot of lads away and lads with injuries, county etc so it is difficult," Shamrocks boss Henry Shefflin told CRKC Sport after the match.
"But look, that's what the panel is all about and that's what we were doing in the O'Byrne Cup, trying to get players in, so yeah it's all hands on deck but it's a great time of the year," he continued.

The ten time All-Ireland winner also hailed the influence of his star wing-back Darragh Corcoran who has just returned after a number of months in the US.
"Before he went away to America he was hurling a storm as well to be fair. He's a physical player but a lovely player and I was delighted to see him push forward for the goal, it was a great strike. It was a good overall team performance but there's obviously a lot we can work on," Shefflin commented, stating, "at this time of year it's about getting points on the board.
