Movie deal starring Kilkenny legends proving to be a hit internationally

Nobody wants to hear about a storm while on an aeroplane, but fear not, multiple storms reported on Aer Lingus flights in recent months are of the positive kind!

The highly acclaimed movie, 'The Waterboys' starring local legends Jim Rohan and Gary Comerford has gone down a storm on Aer Lingus flights so far, with the movie available on the airline's flights until December.

Thousands of people availing of a flight to locations around the world have been learning about the lives of Jim and Gary along with their unrivalled passion for Carrickshock GAA.

Jim and Gary, two well-known and much-loved Kilkenny characters made their on-stage debut in 2019, performing at the Watergate Theatre, before the show of the same name was broadcast on RTE last year.
