An Eoin Crowley goal for Carrickshock on the 12th minute appeared to be winning of the game for much of the contest, with the 'shock holding a satisfactory six point lead at half-time (1-10 to 0-7).
Danesfort did come battling back but failed to reduce the Carrickshock advantage to less than three points at any stage as the clock ticked down to full-time.
Stand up goalkeeper Paddy Hogan, who fired home a late low rocket to the net to level (1-18 apiece) on the 59th minute.

It could have got event better for Adrian Burke's side, who remain unbeaten in Group B, as Cathal Kearney converted a resulting free to give his team the lead for the very time on the evening (1-19 to 1-18). But, in a closing period full of drama, Kearney's free taking counterpart Jake O'Dwyer was given a last gasp opportunity to save the game from referee from Jack Miller. O'Dwyer grabbed the chance with both hands nailing an impressive late free from the sideline to tie the match.
However, the dramatic late goal from Hogan, which has garnered huge attention on social media, hasn't been met with the same fan fair in the Hogan household, with Richie jokingly analysing the goal.
