Kilkenny club teams have been dealing with some of their big matchday players departing for pastures new over recent seasons. Some on short term trips, while others leave for new family beginnings away from the Emerald Isle.
Mooncoin are no exception but according to club wing-back Jim Delahunty, it's 'frustrating' but perfectly understandable.
The South Kilkenny club did receive a welcome boost with the return of Pa Walsh from injury, only for the returning player to pick up an injury in their final league game against James Stephens.
"It's massively frustrating. It's lovely to have the numbers for training but everyone has to live their life and travelling is a massive part of it," Delahunty told the Kilkenny People Sport Podcast.
"Every club is kind of facing the same problems, it's not unique to us," he added.
