Kilkenny's Eoin Murphy
A N25 Road Safety Meeting has been scheduled for Monday September 29 at 8pm in the Rhu Glenn Hotel.
This is a follow-up meeting, where Kilkenny County Council and the N25 Road Safety Committee will provide answers on progress to date, funding updates, and future plans.
A spokesperson for the group said, "We need your support again, just like last time — a strong turnout is vital to keep road safety a top priority. Let’s stand together for safer roads."

Previously, goalkeeper on the Kilkenny senior hurling team, Eoin Murphy used his voice to speak out on the loss of life on the N25 Waterford to Glenmore Road in South Kilkenny, stating it can't continue and pleaded for urgent action.
"We're standing here at one of the most dangerous stretches of road here in the heart of South Kilkenny," Murphy said.
"Families shattered, communities devastated. We can't let this continue, we need your help to save lives," he said, encouraging people to attend a public meeting earlier this year.
