Following a meeting of the Kilkenny County Board on Monday evening, Gordon Byrne of Erin’s Own has been ratified as the new Kilkenny minor hurling manager replacing Niall Bergin in the role.
Bergin left his post as minor manager in July after a four year tenure that saw him pick up Leinster titles in each of the last two seasons.

The new management team consists of seven personnel alongside Byrne including two Lead Coaches and two Selectors/Coaches.
