UPMC Nowlan Park, Kilkenny
It was a big day of camogie action in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday with the Abbot Intermediate and Michael Lyng Motors senior county finals taking place in an appealing double-header.
The senior decider was a repeat of the 2024 final with Dicksboro avenging last year's defeat to run out 1-14 to 0-12 winners.
The Palmerstown team led all the way from the 10th minute to the finish after an evening opening period. Rachel Dowling raised the half's only green flag on the 17th minute helping the 'Boro to a 1-8 to 0-5 half-time lead.

Piltown started the second half brightly and narrowed the gap to three points by the 47th minute (1-10 to 0-10) but Donal Carroll's side weathered the southern storm to claim their fourth senior title.
Meanwhile, the intermediate final was the curtain-raiser as Danesfort and Mooncoin battled for a place in the top tier of Kilkenny camogie.
In a historic day for Danesfort camogie, the stripey women secured passage through to the senior grade for the very first time with a 2-10 to 2-3 victory. The loss was a bitter blow to Mooncoin who have now lost their last three intermediate finals.
