Joy as Kilkenny camogie star and well known Wexford hurler tie the knot

The Lyrath Estate Hotel played host to a day full of joy and celebration on Friday as ex-Kilkenny camogie player Grace Walsh and Wexford senior hurler Jack O'Connor said "I do" in a beautiful wedding ceremony attended by friends and family.

The couple announced their engagement in September, 2024 with the pair putting plans in place for their wedding ceremony ever since.

O'Connor, from the St Martin's club in Wexford has been a member of the county's intercounty panel since 2014, while the Tullaroan clubwoman made her Kilkenny debut in 2011, winning All-Ireland titles; in 2016, 2020 and 2022.

Walsh hails from an iconic Kilkenny sporting dynasty where amongst a rich talent pool of a family, her brothers Tommy and Padraig have won a combined 11 All-Ireland titles with their native county.
