Kilkenny manager Derek Lyng is expected to give a number of players their competitive debut in this weekend's Walsh Shield semi-final against Laois. - FULL TEAM NEWS BELOW
Underage talents like Ivan Bolger, Rory Garrett and Conor McMahon have been handed an opportunity by Lyng and are named to play alongside regulars such as Eoin Cody and Mikey Carey in the pre-season competition match scheduled for 2pm in Rathdowney on Sunday.

Last weekend the county's scheduled Walsh Cup opener with Westmeath was cancelled due to the unavailability of a suitable pitch.
The match was originally due to be played in The Downs but was moved to St Loman's GAA grounds in Mullingar following a pitch inspection.
However, upon arrival, Kilkenny's medical team in consultation with match officials deemed the club's 3G pitch to be unsuitable to play on. - MORE DETAILS HERE
