The Kilkenny County Board and An Garda Síochana have both released statements following a serious incident in UPMC Nowlan Park on Saturday afternoon.
In video footage seen by Kilkenny Live, a fence appeared to collapse in the Paddy Grace Stand due to a large volume of students pushing forward during post-match celebrations following the school's defeat of CBC Kilkenny in the Leinster Senior Hurling Post Primary Schools Final.
Three supporters were injured in the incident but the extent of their injuries are not yet known.
