KILKENNY senior star, Cillian Buckley, has been chosen at wing-forward on the Kilkenny under-21 hurling team to play Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final in Thurles on Saturday (6pm).
The Dicksboro man played at midfield with the seniors in Sunday’s semi-final victory over Tipperary, but manaer Richie Mulrooney and his selectors have sited him at No. 12 for the under-age game.
Richie Doyle, who played in three of the senior championship matches, will fill the No. 6 position, flanked by Joe Lyng and Luke Harney.
