Garda appeal following road rage incident in Kilkenny

Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance following an assault on a cyclist by a motorist on Saturday.

The incident happened close to the village of Knocktopher in South Kilkenny at approximately 2pm.

It is understood that the cyclist sustained a hand injury and underwent medical treatment after the altercation with the motorist.

Gardaí are investigating a report of an assault and are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact them on (056) 777 5000.
