Patricia Stephenson has been selected by the Social Democrats to contest the upcoming General Election in the Carlow Kilkenny constituency.
The Social Democrats held their selection convention yesterday (Wednesday) in the Avalon Hotel in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny.
"It’s an honour to have been selected by the Carlow Kilkenny Social Democrats to represent them in the upcoming General," said Stephenson.

Stephenson lives with her partner and two rescue dogs between Castlecomer in County Kilkenny and Old Leighlin in County Carlow.
She was supported on the night by the two Social Democrats that contested the recent local elections in Kilkenny, Martin O'Neill and David Kane.
